Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad (Second Amendment) Act,1993

Act No.32 of 1993

An Act made for the further amendment of the Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989

Whereas it is expedient to further amend the Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989 (Act No.20 of 1989) for carrying out the purpose mentioned below;

Now, therefore, it is enacted as follows:-

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad (Second Amendment) Act,1993.

2. Amendment of section 16 of Act No.20 of 1989.- For the number "545" in the provision of section 16 of the Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989 (Act No.20 of 1989) shall be substituted the number "910".

3. Repeal and savings.- (1) The Khagarachari Hill District Local Government Parishad (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1993 (Ordinance No.11, 1993) stands herewith repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any action done or measure taken under the repealed Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
