Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad (Amendment) Act, 1993

Act No.1 of 1993

An Act made to amend the Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989

Whereas it is expedient to amend the Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989 (Act No.19 of 1989) for the purpose mentioned below;

Now, therefore, it is enacted as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad (Amendment) Act, 1993.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 12th December, 1992/28th Agrahayan, 1399, respectively.

2. Amendment of section 16 of Act No.19 of 1989.- In the provision of section 16 of the Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad Act, 1989 (Act No.19 of 1989), the number "545" shall be substituted for the number "180".

3. Repeal.- The Rangamati Hill District Local Government Parishad (Second Amendment) Ordinance (Ordinance No.10, 1992) stands herewith repealed.
