Appointment of Customs Areas

BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT

GN 146/1989

APPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMS AREAS

[made under section 96 of the Revenue Act 1898 [title 14 item 10] and brought into operation on 17 March 1989]

 

 

In pursuance of the provisions of 96(3)(a) of the Revenue Act 1898 [title 14 item 10}, I hereby appoint to be Customs Areas the land and waters described in the Schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE (1)

PORT OF HAMILTON

All that area of land adjoining the waters of Hamilton Harbour and delineated in red on the Ordnance Survey plans Series E8111 (Bda 111) Edition 3-Bda 1984 Sheets 3/18 and 3/19 to gether with the buildings erected on the said land, which said plans are deposited at the of fice of the Collector of Customs in the City of Hamilton.

SCHEDULE (2)

THE BERMUDA AIR TERMINAL

All that area of land in St, George's Parish known as The Ber muda Air Terminal and the waters of Castle Harbour, delineated in red on the Ordnance Survey plans Series E8111 (Bda 111) Edition 3-Bda 1984 Sheet 5/13 and 5/14 to gether with the buildings erected on the said land, which said plans are deposited at the of fice of the Collector of Customs in the City of Hamilton.

SCHEDULE (3)

PORT OF ST. GEORGE'S

All that area of land adjoining the waters of St. George's Har bour and delineated in red on the Ordnance Survey plans Series E8111 (Bda 111) Edition 3-Bda 1984 Sheet 5/6 and 5/7 to gether with the buildings erected on the said land, which said plans are deposited at the office of the Collector of Customs in the City of Hamilton.

SCHEDULE (4)

ESSO & SHELL OIL FACILITY

All that area of land situated in the Parish of St. George and oc cupied by "Esso Bermuda" and "The Shell Company of Bermuda Ltd", adjoining the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Ferry Reach and deline ated in red on the Ordnance Survey plans Series E8111 (Bda 111) Edi tion 3- Bda 1984 Sheets 5/9 and 5/10 together with the buildings erected on the said land, which said plans are deposited at the office of the Collector of Customs in the City of Hamilton.

 

SCHEDULE (5)

DOCKYARD

All that area of land known as Dockyard and the waters of Grassy Bay delineated in red on the Ordnance Survey plans Series E8111 (Bda 111) Edition 3-Bda 1984 Sheets 1/8 and 1/12 to gether with the buildings erected on the said land, which said plan is deposited at the office of the Collector of Customs in the City of Hamilton.
