BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT

CONTRIBUTORY PENSIONS (DEFACEMENT OF INSURANCE CARDS) REGULATIONS 1969
[made under section 31 of the Contributory Pensions Act 1967 [repealed] and brought into operation on 1 May 1969]
Offence
1 (1) No person shall, unless authorized to do so by the Insurance Officer, destroy or deface any insurance card or alter, amend or erase any figures or letters written thereon otherwise than for the purpose of amending the address of the insured person.
(2) For the purposes of this regulation any person who removes, erases, destroys or defaces an insurance stamp which has been affixed to or impressed upon an insurance card shall be deemed to deface that insurance card.
(3) Any person who contravenes these Regulations commits an offence:
Punishment on summary conviction: a fine of $72.
