HOSPITAL INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN) (PREMIUM) ORDER 1987

Citation

1 This order may be cited as the Hospital Insurance (Health Insur ance Plan) (Premium) Order 1987.

Premium

2 Subject to paragraph 3, the premium (including the standard premium) to be paid to the Commission in respect of each health insurance plan effected with the Commission under the Act shall be $107.70 a month (or $24.85 a week where paid weekly).

Persons over the age of 65 years

3 The premium (including the standard premium) to be paid to the Commission in respect of each health insurance plan effected with the Commission under the Act for persons over the age of sixty-five years who do not qualify for subsidised hospital treatment under section 2(1) of the Act shall be $343.80 a month (or $79.34 a week where paid weekly).
