OFFENSIVE TRADES (IONISING AND RADIATIONS) ORDER 1965

[made under section 63(1)(b) of the Public Health Act 1949 (title 11 item 1) and brought into operation on 22 September 1965]

1 Any trade, business or manufacture which may involve the expo sure of workers to ionising radiations shall be an offensive trade within the meaning of section 63 of the Public Health Act 1949 [title 11 item 1]:

Provided that this Order shall not apply to the manufacture, re pair or trade in watches, clocks, ships' and aircraft instruments; lighting equipment; and television apparatus.
