TIME ZONE ACT 1929
[8 November 1929]
WHEREAS it is expedient in the interests of shipping and wireless sig nalling to adopt a standard time for Bermuda to be fixed in accordance with the Time Zone Chart:

Adoption of standard time
1 As from 2 o'clock in the morning of Wednesday the first day of January, 1930, the time for general purposes in Bermuda shall be that of Zone plus 4 of the Time Zone Chart as now in force in the Navies and Merchant Fleets of Great Britain and other countries, that is to say that the time for general purposes in Bermuda shall be four hours slow on Greenwich Mean Time.
