JUDGES’ REMUNERATION AND PENSIONS (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT

An Act to provide for the payment of pension to Mr.

Justice Jeffrey Thompson of the Supreme Court

[Assent 20th March, 2007] [Commencement 2nd April, 2007]

1. This Act may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration and Pensions (Special Provisions) Act.
2. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 6(1)(b) of the Judges’ Remuneration and Pensions Act, Mr. Justice Jeffrey Thompson, a retired justice, shall be paid a pension or gratuity on the same formula as under the Judges’ Remuneration and Pensions Act.
