AN ACT TO AMEND |

THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT |

Enacted by the Parliament of The Bahamas. |
||
|
1.
This Act may be cited as the
Road Traffic (Amendment) Act, 2003.
|
Short title. Ch. 220. |
|
|
2.
The Schedule to the Road
Traffic Act is amended -
|
Amendment of Schedule to the principal Act. |
|
|
(a)
in Part A, by the deletion of
item 6 and the substitution therefor of the following -
|
||
|
"For a licence to drive a motor vehicle .......................... $20.00 |
||
|
(a)
for one year
.................................................... $20.00
|
||
|
(b)
for three years
................................................ $50.00"; and
|
||
|
(b)
in Part B -
|
||
|
(i)
by the deletion of item 10 and
the substitution therefor of the following -
|
||
|
"For issuing a public scheduled omnibus franchise per annum for each vehicle $300.00"; and |
||
|
(ii)
by the deletion of item 17 and
the substitution therefor of the following -
|
||
|
" 17. For a certificate of inspection for private vehicles, per annum $25.00". |
