Stamp (Amendment) Act, 2003

AN ACT TO AMEND THE STAMP DUTY

(Date of Assent - 1st July, 2003)

Enacted by the Parliament of The Bahamas.
1.
This Act may be cited as the Stamp (Amendment) Act, 2003.

Short title.
2.
The Second Schedule to the Stamp Act is amended by the insertion of the following item -

Amendment of Second Schedule to Ch. 370.

"Every set of import entries direct or ex-warehouse in respect of gold or silver bullion and loose gem stones for manufacturers registered under item 8 of the Fourth Schedule to the Tariff Act or the Industries Encouragement Act.

two percent of the value of the goods entered or declared thereon.
