AN ACT TO AMEND THE TARIFF ACT, 2004

[Date of Assent - 30^th June, 2006]

Enacted by the Parliament of The Bahamas.

This Act, which amends the Tariff Act, 2001/, may be cited as the Tariff (Amendment) Act, 2006.

Short title.

No. 5 of 2003.

The First Schedule to the principal Act is amended -

Amends First Schedule to the principal Act.

(a)

by deleting the words "35%" appearing in the column Rate of Duty corresponding to the Tariff Trade No. 2903.4200 and substituting therefor the word "70%";

(b)

by deleting the words "40%" appearing in the column Rate of Duty corresponding to the Tariff Trade No. 8419.1100 and substituting therefor the word "35%";

(c)

by deleting Tariff Trade No. "8413.7000" and all the entries corresponding thereto and substituting therefor the following -
