RULES FOR FRAMING CHARGES AND INFORMATIONS |

(AMENDMENT) RULES, 2002 |

The Rules Committee in exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Criminal Procedure Code Act makes the following rules - |
||
1.
(1.) These Rules which amend
the Rules for Framing Charges and Informations may be cited as the
Rules for Framing Charges and Informations
(Amendment) Rules,
2002.

Citation and commencement. Ch. 84. Second Schedule. |

(2)
These Rules shall come into
force on the 1st day of January, 2003.

2.
Paragraph (2) of rule 1 of the
principal Rules is revoked and replaced by the following -
|
Admendment of rule 1 of the principal Rules. |
|
"(2) Each sheet on which an information is set out shall be 11 inches long by 8½ inches wide or A4 International Standards Organisation.". |
||
3.
Notwithstanding the revocation
of paragraph (2) of rule 1 of the principal Rules, the said
paragraph shall continue to have full force
and effect until the
31st day of December, 2003.
