FISHERIES RESOURCES (JURISDICTION

AND CONSERVATION) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS, 2003

The Minister in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction and Conservation) Act, hereby makes the following regulations -
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction and Conservation)(Amendment) Regulations, 2003.

Citation.
2.
Regulation 35 of the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction and Conservation) Regulations is amended -

Amendment of regulation 35 of Sub. Leg. Vol. IV, Ch. 244 - 3.
(a)
by the renumbering of the paragraph as paragraph (1); and
(b)
by the insertion immediately after paragraph (1) of the following new paragraph -

"(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), no person shall take, land, process, sell or offer for sale any fish commonly known as `the Nassau Grouper' during the periods 1st January, 2004 - 31st January, 2004 and 16th December, 2004 - 16th February, 2005.".
