THE ESSENTIAL SERVICES (MAINTENANCE) ORDINANCE REPEAL ACT, 2001

ACT NO. 1 OF 2002

[4th January, 2002.]

An Act to repeal the Essential Services (Maintenance) Ordinance, 1941. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Short title. 1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Essential Services (Maintenance) Ordinance Repeal Act, 2001.

Repeal of Ord. XI of 1941. 2. Repeal of Ord. XI of 1941.-The Essential Services (Maintenance) Ordinance, 1941 is hereby repealed. SUBHASH C. JAIN, Secy. to the Govt. of India.
