FORFEITURE (REPEAL) ACT 2000

THE FORFEITURE (REPEAL) ACT, 2000

ACT NO. 48 OF 2000

[8th December, 2000.]

An Act to repeal the Forfeiture Act, 1859 BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Short title. 1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Forfeiture (Repeal) Act,

Repeal of Act 9 of 1859. 2. Repeal of Act 9 of 1859.-The Forfeiture Act, 1859 is hereby repealed. SUBHASH C. JAIN, Secy. to the Govt. of India.
