Short title. 1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Delhi University (Amendment) Act, 2002.

Amendment of section 5 of Act 8 of 1922. 2. Amendment of section 5 of Act 8 of 1922.-In section 5 of the Delhi

University Act, 1922, in sub-section (2), after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided further that provisions of this sub-section shall not apply in the case of any educational institution affiliated to the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya incorporated under the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya Act, 1998 (Delhi Act 9 of 1998).".
