PROTOCOL BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA REGARDING SCHEDULES 'A' AND 'B' ATTACHED TO THE TRADE AND PAYMENTS AGREEMENT OF 3 MARCH 1960

New Delhi, 1 February 1962

The Delegation of the Government of India and the Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria in pursuance of Article XI of the Trade and Payments Agreement, signed in New Delhi on 3rd March, 1960, have agreed as follows:

The Schedules 'A' and 'B' attached to the Agreement dated 3rd March, 1960, are hereby replaced by the Schedules 'A' and 'B' respectively attached hereto and the new Schedules shall be valid for a period of one year from 1st January, 1962 to 31st December, 1962.

DONE in New Delhi, on the First Day of February, 1962 in duplicate, in the English language, both copies being equally authentic.

As a result of the negotiations which took place in Sofia between Trade Delegations of the people's Republic of Bulgaria and India n understanding was reached on the following:

The Trade and Payments Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of India, dated 3rd March, 19601 signed by Shri K.R.F. Khilnani, Leader of the Indian Trade Delegation and

Mr. Popov, Leader of the Bulgarian Trade Delegation be extended for a period of one year ending December 31, 1963.

I shall be grateful if you will kindly confirm that this letter correctly sets out the understanding reached between us.

The Delegation of the Government of India and the Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria in pursuance of Article XI of the Trade and Payments Agreement, signed in New Delhi on 3rd March, 1960 and extended upto 3 1st December, 1963, have agreed as follows:

The Schedules 'A' and 'B' to the Agreement, dated 3rd March, 1960, are hereby replaced by the Schedules W and 'B', respectively, hereto and the new Schedules shall be valid for a period of one year from 1st January 1963 to 31st December, 1963.
