How evidence to he taken down

143.
(1) The evidence of each witness shall be recorded in the form of a narrative under the personal direction of the Judge and shall be signed and dated by such Judge:
(2) For the purpose of identifying a witness the following particulars shall be recorded, namely-
(a) full name,
(b) if a Tamil, the name of his or her father,
(c) if a married woman, the name of her husband,
(d) place of residence,
(e) age,
(f) occupation, and
(g) the race,
(3) A Judge may record such remarks as he thinks material in respect of the demeanour of a witness while under examination.
