2. Section 6 of the Agrarian Research and Training Institute Act, No. 5 of 1972, (hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment") is hereby amended as follows;"
| (1) by the repeal of subsection (1) of that section and the substitution therefor of the following subsection :"
| | (1) The Institute shall have a Board of Governors (hereinafter referred to as M the Board") consisting of"
| | | (a) the Secretary to the Ministry charged with the subject of Agriculture, who shall be the Chairman; |
| (b) the following members appointed by the Minister, namely"

| (c) the following ex officio members"
|

|
| (2) by the repeal of subsection (4) of that section. |
