Buddhist And Pali University Of Sri Lanka Act (No. 74 of 1981) - Sect 2

Establishment of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka

2.
(1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978, there shall be established a University with the name and style of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka (hereinafter referred to as "the University").
(2) The University shall, by the name assigned to it by subsection (1), be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in such name.
