Buddhist Temporalities (Amendment) Act (No. 42 of 1981) - Sect 3

Amendment of section 2 of the principal enactment

3. Section 2 of the principal enactment is hereby amend ed as follows : "
(a) by the insertion, immediately after the definition of "bhikku", of the following new definition : " " Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs " means the person for the time being holding the office of the Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs and includes any Deputy Commissioner' ; and
(b) by the omission of the definition of " Registrar- General ".
