Companies Act (No. 17 of 1982) - Sect 437

Offence summarily triable

437. All offences under this Act, made punishable
(a) by a fine only ;
(b) by a fine not exceeding twenty thousand rupees with imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding one year ; or
(c) by imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding one year,
may be tried summarily by a Magistrate.
