Companies Act (No. 17 of 1982) - Sect 446

Proceeding in actions by shareholder or debenture holder against a to be by way of summary procedure

446.
(1) Where an action is instituted against any company by any person in his capacity as a holder of shares in or of debentures of such company, the proceedings m such action shall be taken by way of summary procedure
(2) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any 'other written law, the petition presented in court in any action refereed to in subsection (1) shall bear a stamp or stamps of the value of fifty rupees.
