Courts (Amendment) Act (No. 5 of 1964) - Sect 4

Amendment of section 75 of the principal enactment.[ 3, 5 of 1964.]

(1) Section 75 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution-

	(a) for the words " demand shall not exceed three hundred rupees ", of the words " demand shall not exceed seven hundred and fifty rupees " ; and

	(b) for the words "amount claimed shall not exceed three hundred rupees", of the words " amount claimed shall not exceed seven hundred and fifty rupees ".

(2) The provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall come into operation on such date as may be appointed by the Minister of Justice by Order published in the Gazette. *[16th March 1964, by Order published in Gazette No.13,950 of 14th February, 1964.
