Ceylon Electricity Board Act (No. 17 of 1969) - Sect 17

Chapter 205 and Act No. 59 of 1957, to be amended

17.
(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), the Electricity Act and the Electricity (Amendment) Act, No. 59 of 1957, are hereby amended in the manner set out in the Schedule to this Act.
(2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall take effect on the date of the transfer of the Government Electrical Undertakings to the Board under section 18.
