Ceylon Electricity Board Act (No. 17 of 1969) - Sect 64

Amendment of other written laws, &c

64.
(1) Wherever, in any provision of any other written law or in any notice, permit, communication, form or other document issued, made, required on authorized by or under any other written law-
(a) the expression " Department of Government Electrical Undertakings " occurs, there shall be substituted therefor, the expression " the Ceylon Electricity Board ''; and
(b) the expression " General Manager, Department of Government Electrical Undertakings ' occurs, there shall be substituted therefor, the expression " General Manager, Ceylon Electricity Board ",
(2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall take effect on the date on which the Government Electrical Undertakings are transferred to the Board under section 18.
