Clothing Industry Training Institute Act (No. 3 of 1984) - Sect 16

Director of the Institute

16.
(1) The Minister shall, in consultation with the Chairman of the Board, appoint to the staff of the Institute a Director who shall be the chief executive officer. The conditions of employment, including remuneration of the Director, shall be determined by the Minister in consultation with the Minister in charge of the subject of Finance.
(2) The Director shall exercise, perform and discharge such powers, functions and duties as may be delegated to him.
(3) The Minister may remove from office the Director appointed under subsection (1), and such removal shall not be called in question in any court.
