Code Of Criminal Procedure Act (No. 15 of 1979) - Sect 285

Execution of sentences under section 53 of the Penal Code

288. When any person has been sentenced under section 53 of the Penal Code to be detained during the President's pleasure he shall, notwithstanding any enactment to the contrary, be liable to be detained in such place and under such conditions as the President may from time to time direct, and whilst so detained shall be deemed to be in legal custody.
