Code Of Criminal Procedure Act (No. 15 of 1979) - Sect 423

In lieu of order property may be sent to Magistrate for disposal

426. In lieu of making an order under section 425 the High Court may direct the property to be delivered to a Magistrate who shall in such cases deal with it as if it had been seized by the police and the seizure had been reported to him in the manner hereinafter mentioned.
