Civil Procedure Code (Amendment) Act (No. 53 of 1980) - Sect 2

Replacement of section 8 of Chapter 101

2.Section 8 of the Civil Procedure Code (hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment") is hereby repealed and the following new section substituted therefor :
8.Save and except actions in which it is by this Ordinance or any other law specially provided that proceedings may be taken by way of summary procedure, every action shall commence and proceed by a course of regular procedure, as hereinafter prescribed.".
