Ceylon Shipping Corporation Act (No. 11 of 1971) - Sect 4

Objects of the Corporation

4. The objects of the Corporation shall be-
(a) to operate services for the transport of goods, mails and passengers by sea;
(b) to carry on business as shipowners, chatterers of ships and vessels, ship brokers, shipping agents and other ancillary services; and
(c) to carry out the building, maintenance, repair and overhaul of ships and vessels.
