Ceylon Tea Board Act (No. 15 of 1970) - Sect 1

Short title and date of operation

1.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Ceylon Tea Board Act, No. 15 of 1970.
(2) The provisions of this section, and of section 28, of this Act shall come into operation on the date on which this Act becomes an Act of Parliament.
(3) The provisions of this Act, other than this section and section 28, shall come into operation on such date, hereinafter referred to as the " appointed date ", as the Minister may appoint by Order published in the Gazette.
