| (1) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name. |

| (2) The Board shall have the power to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and to sell and dispose of the same, to enter into contracts, and otherwise to do and perform all such acts or things as may be necessary for carrying out the provisions of this Act. |
