2. Section 2 of the Co-operative Wholesale Establishment Act, hereinafter referred to as the " principal Act", is hereby amended, in subsection (2) of that section, as follows : -
| (1) by the substitution, for paragraph (b) of that subsection, of the following new paragraph : -
| | (b) to carry on business as exporters and importers of, and as wholesale and retail dealers in, goods of every description ;" ; | | |
|
|
| (2) in paragraph (c) of that subsection-
| | (i) by the substitution, for the words " banking, shipping or insurance,", of the words " banking or shipping,", and | | |
| | (ii) by the substitution, for the words " objects ; and ", of the word " object. " ; and | | |
|
|
| (3) by the omission of paragraph (d) of that subsection. |
