5. Section 5 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows: -
| (1) in subsection (1) of that section-
| | (a) by the substitution, for all the words from "has been" to "may,", of the words " has been proclaimed by the Chief Government Veterinary Surgeon as aforesaid, he may,"; and | | |
| | (b) in the marginal note to that subsection, by the substitution for the words " Government Agents ", of the words " Chief Government Veterinary Surgeon "; and | | |

| (2) in subsection (2) of that section, by the substitution, for the words " Government Agent or a divisional revenue officer", of the words " Chief Government Veterinary Surgeon ". |
