| 28. All claims to benefits shall be determined by the Commissioner or by any officer authorized in that behalf by him and the determination of the Commissioner or such officer shall, subject to any decision on an appeal made against such determination in accordance with the provisions of this Act, be final:Provided that any determination made by any officer under this section may within the prescribed period be reviewed by the Commissioner on his own motion; and in such case the determination of the Commissioner shall be deemed, for the purposes of section 29, to be the determination in that case. |
