| 8. Section 17 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for all the words front. "Punishable by a fine not exceeding" to the end of that section, of the following words: -" punishable by a fine not less than one thousand rupees and not exceeding five thousand rupees or to imprisonment for a term not less than one month and not exceeding one year or to both such fine and imprisonment.". |
