Higher Education Act (No. 20 of 1966) - Sect 41

Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor

41.
(1) The Governor-General shall be ex officio Chancellor of the University. He shall be the head of the University, and shall, when present, preside at any Convocation of the University.
(2) The Minister shall be ex officio Pro-Chancellor of the University. He shall, when present and in the absence of the Chancellor, preside at any Convocation of the University.
