Higher Education Act (No. 20 of 1966) - Sect 59

Student Unions of a Campus or University

59.
(1) Each Faculty of a Campus or a University may have a union called the Students' Union, in this Act called a " Faculty Students' Union ", consisting of the persons who are for the time being students of that Faculty.
(2) A Faculty Students' Union shall have a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary and a Treasurer who shall be the office-bearers of that Union.
