The provisions of this Act shall have force and effect notwithstanding anything in any other written law, or in any contract of employment, whether oral written, express or implied; and accordingly, the event of any conflict or inconsistency between such provisions and any such other law or such contract, such provisions shall to the extent of such inconsistency prevail over any such other law or such contract. |
