21. Section 37 of the principal enactment is hereby emended as follows :
| (a) by the substitution in paragraph (a) of that section for the words "of the amount of the relevant dividend increased by fifty per centum;", of the words " of the amount of the relevant dividend increased by fifty per centum where the dividend is payable on or before March 31, 1980, and increased by twenty-live per centum where the dividend is payable on or after April 1, 1980 ;" ; |

| (b) by the substitution, in paragraph (b) of that section. for the words " relevant dividend ; and ", of the words relevant dividend ; ; and |

| (c) by the insertion immediately after paragraph (d) of that section of the following new paragraph: -
| | "(d) if the relevant dividend is paid out of the amount of a dividend received by such resident company from a quoted public company, income tax equitant to five per centum of the amount of such, relevant dividend, . | | |
