3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be
| (a) to help poor Muslims to give their dead a decent burial; |
|
| (b) to assist poor Muslims to conduct the circumcision ceremonies of their children ; |
|
| (c) to assist poor Muslim girls to get married ; |
|
| (d) to render medical assistance to Muslim patients and invalids ; |
|
| (e) to grant financial assistance to Muslims to repair and renovate their homes; |
|
| (f) to conduct free Quranic and religious classes in the form Madrasa for poor, needy and orphaned children and to distribute free religious or school books to deserving children; |
|
| (g) to provide tricycles for the deformed ; |
|
| (h) to give alms to poor Muslims during the holy month of Ramzan and on the Festival day; |
|
| (i) to assist those who are desirous of embracing Islam ; |
|
| (j) to hold competitions, and award prizes, in various, literary subjects necessary for religious and educational advancement; |
|
| (k) to maintain a free library and a reading room for Muslims ; |
|
| (l) to arrange public lectures on Islamic subjects ; and |
|
| (m) to take all other steps necessary and desirable for the promotion of the above mentioned objects. |
