| 2. The Fifth Schedule to the Judicature Act, No.2 of 1978, as amended by Act No. 36 of 1983, is hereby further amended by the addition, immediately before the last item appearing under the heading "JUSTICES OF THE PEACE FOR PORTIONS OF SRI LANKA" of the following new items: "All Councilors of Municipal Councils and Members of Urban Councils, for their respective Municipal Council and Urban Council areas; All elected Members of Development Councils for the respective Administrative Districts for which such Councils are constituted.". |
