Local Authorities (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Act (No. 11 of 1985) - Sect 2

Amendment of section 3 of Act No.3 of 1979

2. Section 3 of the Local Authorities (Special Provisions) Act, No, 3 of 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the" principal enactment ") is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (2) of that section and the substitution therefor of the following subsection:-
" (2) Where the Minister receives an appeal under sub section (1) he shall, confirm, vary or set aside the order made by the local authority.".
