| (1) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Sale of State Lands (Special Provisions) Law, No. 43 of 1973, where any person is a permit-holder under that Law and such permit has not been cancelled under section 27 of that Law, such person shall be deemed to be in possession of the land so alienated and he shall be deemed to be a permit-holder under the provisions of the principal enactment. |

| (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Sale of State Lands (Special Provisions) Law, No. 43 of 1973, where any person is the holder of a grant under that Law, he shall be deemed to be in possession of the land so alienated and he shall be deemed to be a holder of a grant under the provisions of the principal enactments. |
