Local Government Service (Amendment) Act (No. 10 of 1985) - Sect 22

Transitional provisions

22.
(1) Every member of the Local Government Service Advisory Board and the Local Government Service Disciplinary Board holding office on the day immediately prior to the date of commencement of this Act, shall cease to hold such office with effect from the date of commencement of this Act.
(2) Every reference in the principal enactment to the Local Government Service Advisory Board and the Local Government Service Disciplinary Board shall be read and construed as a reference to the Local Government Service Commission established under this Act.
