Mobilization And Supplementary Forces Act (No. 40 of 1985) - Sect 14

Appointment and promotion & c. of members of the Reserve

14.
(1) The officers of the Reserve shall be appointed by the President.
(2) The officers appointed under subsection (1) shall be deemed to he officers of the Reserve from the date specified in their appointment.
(3) The President may from time to time promote or advance in rank, officers of the Reserve.
(4) The structure and ranks of the other members of the Reserve shall be prescribed.
