Effect of cancellation or suspension of certificates

277. The cancellation or suspension of a certificate by the Director or by a Court shall-

(a) if the certificate was issued under this Act be effective everywhere and in respect of all ships;

(b) if the certificate was issued outside Ceylon be effective-

	(i) within Ceylon and the territorial waters of Ceylon in respect of all ships; and

	(ii) outside Ceylon in respect of Ceylon ships only.
