Merchant Shipping Act (No. 52 of 1971) - Sect 52

Provision for loss of certificate

52. In the event of the certificate of registry of a Ceylon ship being mislaid, lost or destroyed, the Registrar of the port of registry of the ship shall grant a certificate of registry in lieu of the original certificate of such ship.
