88. Section 188 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following section substituted therefor :

Where the weight of goods found at any time on a lorry or a motor tricycle van on a highways exceeds the maximum load or maximum axle load specified on the revenue licence format or maxi- lorry or motor tricycle van, or where the distribution of the load is such as to cause danger, the driver of the lorry or motor tricycle van shall, save as provided in section 214. be guilty of an offence under this Act,". |
